Lady A's is a nice , clean, cool, professional place to work. We are located in a great area and this is a great place to grow as a stylist! In order to be considered for employment all applicants must be fast learners, self motivated, show and have interest in providing hair care along with braiding, Be willing to learn and agree to shop rules and our training for braiding and having a great attitude is a must! Stylist must also be willing to act as a team player. It's important to understand that we are an appointment based salon but all stylist that are scheduled to work are still required to be on a set shift time weather they have clients booked at that time or not. Sometimes we do get last minute calls we may need to fill. Remember that at Lady A's we are striving to dedicate the proper time and outstanding service to each client and that's why appointments are our preference!
We are only looking for serious stylists wanting to work long term and can provide professional service to our clients. Stylist Must have a great personality, their own reliable transportation, a working cell phone, a professional attitude with all clients and co workers. Stylist must have patience and a little extra gentleness when braiding the little ones hair. We do not tolerate offensive language or any kind of disrespect at all. All stylist must be available to work Friday & Saturday's from 9:00 till 7:30 or when last client is finished! Time can vary.. NO EXCEPTIONS**
Lady A's will help promote every stylist but, we still require self motivation & serious stylist to be a part of our team. We are looking to fill 2 slots at this time . All stylist are paid by commission only We do not hire booth renters. We pay Bi Weekly. Commission pay increases after 6 months probation period, of employment and depends on stylist overall Performance within the company. We Provide all products needed for our clients hair so there's no need to bring any other products! If hired stylist only need to bring 1 blow dryer , combs, clips, brushes and a black stylist jacket. Everything else is provided by Lady A's, Your clients are scheduled in advance for you. We Are Hiring for full time weekend work only. Braiding is required to work at Lady A's. We are only looking for help with cornrow braids, Box braids, Kinky twist, Freestyle /micro braiding etc. commission percentage will be discussed during interview.
We like the idea of keeping the studio staff small at this time to provide more of a family feel for stylist and clients. Having a atmosphere where stylist work together and get along is very important here at Lady A's so if you think you will fit in with us please feel free to call or email me for an interview asap! Only serious stylist w some braiding experience.. A braiding license is not required to work in the studio. We do provide some training, but stylist has to have some experience.
